This level of closed course, hands-on training cannot be practiced on public roads or even in a simulator. Instruction takes place at dedicated training centers where drivers learn how to perform emergency maneuvers in a safe, controlled environment.
Regular classes are held at In Control’s primary Massachusetts training facility in Weymouth.
NOTE: With Amazon building a warehouse in N. Andover that site closed in early 2020. Please consider training in Weymouth while we seek out a replacement site for that area, courses generally take place in a single day, and we promise it’s worth the travel time.
Also, In Control has visited Barnes Airport (Westfield, MA), Pease Airport (Portsmouth, NH), and a small number of other locations that are no longer available. While we offer classes in Weymouth year-round, we may not visit other locations due to snow.
PLEASE DO NOT RELY ON ADDRESSES YOU FIND ONLINE OR YOUR GPS ALONE TO GUIDE YOU TO OUR TRAINING LOCATIONS - Our locations are generally well off public streets and can be complicated to find. Detailed driving directions are shared via email confirmations. If you do not have access to your email, you can find driving directions here.
If you think you can motivate a group of 20+ students at one of those locations, contact us, and we'll see if we can plan to have snow removed for your group and schedule a special class date.
Do you know a space you think might qualify for our training?
Here's a document that details the minimum size requirements to host our state certified course. If your space is too small, we're happy to visit your community and justify the drive to anyone who will listen. Minimum Site Requirements.
