Crash Prevention 101 - Introduction to Crash Prevention (CP101)
This 4.5 to 5-hour course is designed for drivers of all ages. Whether you are a few months from your road test on a learner's permit or have been licensed for decades, this training prepares you for year-round hazards through a balanced mix of classroom work, group exercises, and one-on-one driving instruction.
Participants develop practical skills and muscle memory that reduce risky overconfidence and build meaningful confidence in timid drivers. Graduates may qualify for auto insurance discounts from many local and national insurers. Click here for a detailed course overview.
Close Quarters Maneuvering (CQM)
Could you use more confidence when backing up or making tight turns? This approximately 2.5-hour course puts new and experienced drivers through our close quarters maneuvering program. Normally reserved for commercial clients, CQM helps with tight city driving, parking lots, and garages, and understanding essential vehicle dynamics while in reverse. Graduates do not qualify for auto insurance discounts, but the skills gained significantly reduce the likelihood of a backing up crash.
When registering for both CP101 and CQM on the same date, the CQM portion is only $100. Make sure you accept subsidies during online registration to receive this price. If you prefer to register for only CQM, the fee is $175.
Note: For this course, we use our vehicles for training. We will help you translate the lessons to your own vehicle. If you have a commercial need to train in a specific van or truck, contact us to discuss.
Refresher / Additional Driving Time (R/ADT)
This course is available only to previous graduates of our CP101 class, but may be taken years after completion or the following day. The approximately 2.5hr program primarily focuses on driving exercises with very little time in the classroom. This course qualifies some graduates for an extension on auto insurance credits (contact us for details). Pricing for this course is $250 per participant.
Trailer Training 101 (TT101)
This course is available to all drivers whether you have been towing trailers for years or have aspirations of getting your first camper, boat, etc. The approximately 5hr class will cover everything from proper trailer loading, general driving, to emergency situations. The course does not currently qualify graduates for auto insurance savings but avoiding a towing-related crash is well worth the investment. Pricing for this course is $450 per participant.
