Closed course, hands-on crash prevention training
Low speed and tight driving situations rarely end in personal injury but there are hundreds of millions of dollars in property damage annually in these types of crashes.
For over 15 years In Control has offered Close Quarters Maneuvering (CQM) training to commercial drivers of everything from pickup trucks, passenger vans and larger box trucks.
In 2019 we started offering this training to the general public and, not surprisingly, it’s been a big hit.
This approximately 2.5hr course puts new and experienced drivers behind the wheel traveling forward and backwards through a variety of obstacles with our instructor nearby helping you with skills and experiences to prepare you for similar hurdles with tight city driving, parking lots and garages.
Graduates do not specifically qualify for auto insurance discounts, but the lessons learned are sure to help you avoid a backing up or tight space crash in the future.
Pricing: If taking CQM on it’s own, the cost is $175 per person. Individuals or families who register for CQM and CP101 at the same time pay only $100 for CQM.
