Safe Roads Alliance and In Control Family Foundation have worked with the Executive Office of Public Safety & Security since 2015 to pilot these programs in dozens of Massachusetts's communities.

Your local police department can directly apply for funds through the MRS Grant program. FY 24/25 Applications were due by July 1, 2024 at 9am and awards will be announced in the fall.

Our programs are covered in MRS Grants as Non-Enforcement Activities, and we’re considered consultants in the Allowable Cost Categories. The requirements to apply and fulfill reporting on these grants are drastically easier than enforcement activities. If you typically avoid this grant due to workload, please reconsider.

Here’s the Office of Grants and Research’s website detailing the grant.
